This is a 3d model of the Estes Crossfire. The Crossfire is supposed to fly up to 350 meters on a c6-5, in reality it only flies up to around 255 meters. The 3d printed version is a mono body design, meaning that the fins, motor mount, launch lug, and the body tube are all one piece. When I launched this at my school I got an altitude of 125 meters which was about spot on with what open rockets said it would reach (note: in an earlier launch I put a B motor in, for some reason the ejection charge did not fire and ended up lawn darting into the ground. When I removed the the rocket from the ground it ended up breaking the tip of nose cone. in order to launch it again I put a layer of masking tape on the top of it, thus increasing the drag on the rocket. If the nose was still on I feel that the rocket could have gone 30-50 meters higher)
Recommend motors: B6-4 and C6-5
