This chassis from Injora was delivered originally with a planetary gerabox in the front (including the motor mount) and a transfer gearbox in the middle. These parts are OK so far, but what really was build from cheap metal were the driveshafts which broke after 1 year. As I didn't had a ultra short drive shaft (~2cm) to replace everything, I decided to completely redesign the chassis with parts I'd available.
Original gearbox has been removed and replaced by a 18% overdrive gearbox in the middle of the chassis. The CG of the motor is now 1-1.5cm lower than original, but the motor weight is not in the front anymore. So I created this battery tray to move the battery as much to the front as possible and also as low as possible.
It is mounted like the original gearbox and uses the same holes where the shock bridges are mounted to the chassis.
I printed it in PETG, projectfile is included if you're interessted in the settings I used.
The FreeCAD file is included so you're able to modify this part easily if you want to.
The tray is designed for my 3S batterys, the inner size is 40x85mm, height overall is 30mm.
