My son printed one and put this together with me. First time for him using a hammer he said.

Edit: Forgot to add that i modified the stock to be shorter for him since he’s only 8. The print quality was better for this than my last lamprey so it dumped the first couple mags without any jams! (edited)

beautiful blaster, here it is with my pike.

the only problem is that sometimes the loading mechanism jams a dart and removal of the dart completely destroys it and renders it unusable.

im currently designing a shell that would be only for full length stringers, it will fire anything that would fit into it, that would be perfect to turn this into a shotgun

Made it as a first 3d printed blaster. Tons of fun, a real step up from my collection of old blasters. My kids had a blast with them.

Very good looking blaster. Would be nice if there hatch to access to magwell to clear jams better. My kids are young and their blasters shoot on the slower side so they have full length darts which is what drew me to this, but the pusher struggles to get darts into the breach fully and consistently.

I went back and did some sanding. I realized most of my issues were from defects in my printing process. This thing is smooth as butter now. almost never jamming. I will be printing another one for my son with a shorter stock so he can reach the prime while aiming. (edited)

Works like a charm!

Hey, does this print work on a Core One with 250×220x270?
180mm³ as required printer seems wrong...

A fun if a bit frustrating build. Pegs printed on my A1 were much looser than most leedle builds i’ve done, but a little dab of glue will do ya.

Fully tightened string has it hitting around 110-120 FPS with standard lengths. And 95-105 with half lengths.

Main body printed with Elegoo Light Blue PLA; Grip and buttstock brace in Metallic Gray PETG by flashforge. Priming bars and internals In Protopasta Unicorns Tears. Orange bits printed using Inland Glo-PLA orange.

Edit:
Printed another after my kid fell in love with the original and did some AMS work. (edited)

What a fun and great blaster. I'm very impressed so far. Great design. Looking forward for my first battle with it. Some pins were too loose for my taste, so I added some tape for a better pressfit.

Fun build! Primes nicely for full length 😁

Beautiful blaster, brings back the feeling of the alpha trooper days! (edited)

What mag is that, is it 3d printed?

@THESUNTHESUN_3075049 nope, it's a worker 15 round mag for full lengths. Not sure they sell that exact one anymore, I've had them for years

I gotta get like 17 bucks and ill make it
