This is a snap together (No Glue Required) Barn Style Birdhouse. This birdhouse can be hung or post-mount. The bottom has a “Print In Place” hinged door. This allows easy yearly clean-out. To secure the bottom door, I use a #9 wood screw. To secure the birdhouse to a post, use the hole in the top of the roof and the hole on the inside of the body.
Each part can be printed without supports. I recommend 3 Perimeters and .2 mm layer. I highly recommend PETG for this project.
Body: Once printed, tap on the bottom door from the inside (opposite hinge) to break free from the print layer. It does not require much force. A wood screw can be used to secure it.
Roof: I recommend a brim. Note the words “FRONT” on the bottom side. Use this as orientation to snap the roof onto the body. Once roof is snaped onto body, your not likely to get it apart.
Door: Note the “UP ARROW” on the back side of the door. Use that to orient for snapping into the body.
Hole: Easily snaps into body.
Enjoy!
