80mm Duct Adapter for Elegoo Mars 5 Lid

The adapter allows connecting an evacuation pipe. The inteface has lips that should prevent the duct to come off loose.

You will need 4x M3 heat set inserts. Clean up the holes after inserting. The inserts are added from behind to allow greater force when tightening the screws.

Print with >3 walls.

TPU Gasket

The circular channel is sized ~1.8mm, so you can potentially use (like I did) a TPU filament as a gasket. I used some resin to glue it in the channel as shown in image. The TPU gets crushed when we tighten the screws. You can use the remaining length of heat-set-insert to screw something else from outside (for cables etc).

Note: the stock M3 screw that came with the printer is a bit too small. You will need a 10mm or longer screw.
