Lacking a built-in camera, and not thrilled with the connectivity of the Prusa Buddy camera, I chose to use a spare Unifi G3 Flex camera and mount it on the side window of the Core One. The flanged surround shields the camera from background reflections off the window (best if printed in a matte black). The mount secures to the printer body using one of the holes in the top lid with an M3 bolt of at least 10mm and a nylock nut.
Since I don't use PrusaConnect, I integrated this with my Home Assistant automations to have a unified Core One dashboard with all the print status and live camera feed together.
Caveat: The G3 Flex (I can't speak to other Unifi cameras) aren't really meant for use at such close-range, so the focus of the print bed isn't completely sharp, but it's more than good enough to monitor the print progress. There are hacking guides online to adjust the camera's lens to allow a shorter focus distance if you're okay with disassembling the camera (careful, there are extremely fine delicate wires inside that will break if you so much as breath on them.)
