Well. I didn't want neither to ruin the scanner i got nor to keep it in a stock box it was shipped in so i made this.

First print the parts.
0.2 Layer height, 2-3 perimeters as wide as you do (mine are 1mm with .6 nozzle) low (i.e. 30%) infill, no supports needed. Refer to illustration if unsure of a correct part orientations.
I've used PETG for solid parts and a very soft (80A Shore) TPU for a flexible net\cable retainer. You can go for a fuzzy outer walls but i'd recommend to chose them manually so it wouldn't mess the hinges.
Also i can't remember if i've had to scale up or down the flexible part so it would fit nicely, but you may have to:)

Then clean the holes (3mm/2.5mm for thread), use 2x din912 m3x20 for hinges and 2x din912 m3x30 to secure the latch. I don't tap these, just screw it slowly and steadily, do not overtight.

Now take a foaming from your original scanner box and cut into place as i did. Glue it in or make pieces a little bit oversized so they'd hold themselves with friction.

Now your devices is warm and safe. Good job.
