First, I cannot thank steriku enough for putting this out there - with my limited tools (Tinkercad), I really would not have been able to do this. My camper lost it's downspout, and I wanted to replace it with something better - and this is it. My remix is essentially the same as the original, but with two differences. First, although there is a screw hole, I didn't want to drill into the side of the camper, so I wanted a much wider mounting surface to apply glue or tape for mounting. I put the screw hole back in, but don't intend to use it. Second, I didn't want to use supports, so laid it on it's side for printing (in the orientation shown). My first attempt, which is the smaller of the two that is included in the file, was a bit sloppy when trying to print in thin air without supports. My second attempt has an even wider base, but more importantly, I modified the section that had the most overhang - it printed without any major problems. Not perfect, but it will work well on our camper and it looks good. This same model can be flipped for a left or right downspout. This is my first post of anything - so I hope I did this right. I'm new to this universe, but find it fascinating and look forward to more projects.
