Had a spare set of Rough Country cube lights from a warranty swap, so decided to design and build some mounts to put them in my fog light locations. Designed in Solidworks, printed in ASA on an MK4S. Attached photos are from a final test print in PLA to make sure everything fit correctly. Recommended to print in something that is UV and water resistant since its an exterior car part. I will probably remake these in ASA CF in the future if one breaks for extra stiffness.
I HIGHLY recommend using my 3mf file at least to get the print orientation correct. Printing this way will negate any vertical stress on the layers due to bumps in the road. Tree supports work best since they dont require being placed on the model itself but obviously use what you like.
If you print one at a time, make note they are very slightly tilted downward from left to right, so you'll need to mirror the part over the X axis to get them aligned properly in the bumper
I've attached the final STL, as well as the STEP file in case you'd like to adapt to fit other off road lights!
