Gaggimate 2.8" Display Case for Gaggia Classic

I used a 2.8" display for my Gaggimate mod of my Gaggia Classic Pro. There's a couple of 2.8" display models around, but I decided to design my own.

This case is designed to be used with the Lilygo T-RGB 2.8" full circle display or Waveshare equivalent.

There are 3 components to this case: a ring to attach the display to, the main body, and an outer ring that secures the display into place. To assemble, first stick the display to the ring. The ring has a cutout for the ribbon cable. In addition, there are two slots through which you should be able to see the white lines on the back of the display to ensure accurate alignment. Next, feed the power cable through the hole in the body and plug in the display. The ring has pins that align it with the main body. Finally install the outer ring over the display. It snaps into place. It can help to warm it up with a hair dryer if it is difficult to get on or to get it off again. Make sure the outer ring is aligned with the body. Install the case on your Gaggia Classic and have an espresso to celebrate.
