This is my original design for an Ultimate Guard Boulder style deck box that prints in two parts and snaps together. Meant to be economic in filament use and strong enough to hold securely.
The print profile provided includes a brim to ensure the bottom prints without lifting and can be removed with a de-burring tool or a craft knife/box cutter.
IMPORTANT: The hold strength of the two halves WILL weaken over a few weeks in any filament as the polymer creeps. PLA will significantly weaken whereas PETG will remain strong for much longer. For this reason I recommend printing with PETG for longevity but PLA will still work, just with a weaker hold force. This is my original design for an Ultimate Guard Boulder style deck box that prints in two parts and snaps together.
