If you want to use a different screw you need to match the Major Diameter of the screw which is .170" or 4.32mm and the head diameter of about .3095" or 7.86mm and a head height of .120" or 3mm in order for the screw to sit recessed into the counterbored hole. 

Any layer height should work. I used 0.20mm with PLA. I would recommend at least 3 or 4 perimeter layers and 25% infill.
