- Plugs for bowden tube (a plug the size of ID) and fitting itself (a plug the size of OD)
- Fittings from bowden tube with stopper to prevent tube from getting pulled in in the case of a tangle at the spool.
- Dual funnel: External funnel is for easy insertion. Middle funnel is to prevent adapter itself from getting pulled into the filament dryer.
- Ridged on the inside allows fastening the fitting with a mini zip-tie so it doesn't get pulled out of the filament dryer.
- Fittings for providing a fully-enclosed line from a filament dryer to a quarter-inch direct drive inlet:
- Single-funnel fittings are for using a bowden tube (or wide ID tube with same OD) with direct drive,
- Coupler (no funnel) for extruders which have a short piece of bowden tube as an inlet.
I recommend a Creality filament dryer since it (Filament Dry Box 2.0 model DB-02) goes up to 65 C (the temperature recommended by printdry.com for certain filaments). The filament dryer in the photos here is an EIBOS. Note that in my experience the dial on this EIBOS does not provide the temperatures recommended by printdry.com. I recommend a secondary temperature gauge if you have this one (It only has a humidity gauge integrated).
