This magnet toy can be used in a play kitchen or play store. The food can be “cut” between the magnets and so it comes apart like real food. The plastic knife is dull otherwise and poses no harm.
Printing:
Print all parts in the given orientation with all settings as you see fit. A manual color change might make it look a little more interesting
Assembly:
The knife: needs 3x M3x10 bolts (or similar) for assembly.
All other parts: need some 5x2mm magnets in order for them to get “cut away”. Secure them in place with a generous amount of superglue
Have fun printing, cutting and cooking :)

CHANGELOG 15.10.2025

Credit where credit is due:
Id higly recommend to visit the original models if you want to have a non cuttable version. They are modelled with a lot of care for detail, absolutelly lovely and are worth a visit. Especially “vegetable garden” by Rivess features a lot more vegetables and offers a lot more play value for the future, so go and check them out :)
Smal disclaymer:
Although all parts are scaled and cut in order to be big enough for them not to be a choking hazard, id higly recommend this toy to be used under supervision with smal children.
For toys that can come appart, EN 71-1 (Europe) and ASTM F963 (US) state the following: In order to be concidered a non choking hazard for children under 36 month, a single piece (That includes bolts and screws btw) should be big enough to not fit in a 57mmx31mm cylinder. If a toy features smaler pieces it is still good to go if the product features a note that it is only intended for children 36m and up.
These standards are for commercially sold toys but i think its a good thing to be on the save side ^^
The author remixed this model.
