You need to print 4 of the main body parts and 2 of the grips.
The files include the individual components as well as a full set to make printing easier.

I made this a few years ago to add a pompom to a knitted hat.

To use it;
   1. Take two of the main body parts, align back to back and wrap in wool, as shown in the second image.
       ◦ Continue wrapping until the semi circle has been completely filed with the wool.
       ◦ On the last wrap, cut the wool off from the ball and tuck the loose end under the previous loop. This keeps it from unwinding while working on the other half.
       ◦ If you are having trouble starting without it coming undone, you can tie a knot to keep the wool from moving. It should be positioned on the inside of the rim so that you wont see it in the finished pompom

   2. Repeat with the other half.

   3. When both halves are wrapped, use the two 'grip' part to hold them together in a circle, so it resembles the third image. Pressing firmly so that they clamp the wool in place.
       ◦ They should be tight enough to hold themselves in place.

   4. Next use a pair of scissors to cut around the rim of the circle, using the chamfered gap to help guide the scissors.

   5. Then using a length of wool (approx ~30cm) wrap around the rim between the wool you just cut. Pulling tightly so that it wraps around the inner wool between the plastic halves, tie a  knot to keep it in place.
       ◦ leave the two loose ends so that you can attach it to something later.

   6. Remove the grip pieces then the rest of the plastic parts.

   7. Finally fluff up the pompom to make it round and trim any uneven threads to make it as round as you like.
