I needed a bracket to securely mount my Tesla Model Y mobile charger to the wall. My goal was to reduce the strain on the charging cable that runs up to the AC outlet. I found a design that was close to what I needed, so I modified it to better suit my setup. Hopefully, others will find this version helpful as well.
Hardware used to mount the bracket to drywall:
20-lb 1/8-in x 3-in self-drilling anchors
The charger can still be easily removed from the bracket whenever you need to take it with you in the car.
Big thanks to bezuercher on Thingiverse for the original design!
The author remixed this model.
Compared to the original, the remix has three main changes:
I streamlined the design by merging the two-part bracket into a single component. To optimize for mounting, I centered the two primary mounting holes near the top and bottom edges, which allowed me to remove two other holes that were deemed unnecessary.
