A card holder for up to 4 cards that will fan the cards using a slide action. Full credit goes to @nanselm for the design. The changes for this are the screw types as this variant uses 5 socket cap screws which sit fully flush.
HARDWARE:
5x - M3x8mm Socket head screws
3x - M3x3x4.2mm Heat set inserts (3mm deep, 4.2mm diameter)
2x - M3x5x4.2mm Heat set inserts (5mm deep, 4.2mm diameter) - These can be replaced with 3mm deep inserts, however if you have 5mm diameter inserts, these will be better.#
Advice:
I printed with 0.1mm layers which worked nicely from a finish perspective.
I would suggest using 100% infill, it is not a heavy part and it helps with strength and feel.
If the holes come out and the mechanism isn't moving freely, try drilling out the pivot screw hole using a 3mm drill bit and do not overtighten it. This goes for any of the M3 holes, they should allow for a screw to slide easily through them so if they don't drilling them out with a 3mm bit will help with assembly, which is for the most part unchanged from @nanselm 's design. There is a photo indicating where each heat set insert is installed to help avoid misintsallation.
The author remixed this model.
All credit goes to @nanselm for the design, the main difference is hardware based. This design uses M3x8 socket head screws which sit flush instead of M3x12 Flat head screws.
