An X-Wing starfighter to hang from your Christmas tree, light fixture, or rear view mirror, the possibilities are endless!
One year ago today I uploaded my first kit of many, the X-Wing starfighter, which is still my most popular to date. So as a wee bit of an anniversary celebration I have remastered this kit with some of the things I've picked up along the way, such as a re-positioned hanging loop, detailed wings, and more accurate proportions. The original model made it as high as #7 most popular of the last year, and with a whopping 67,300+ downloads I can't help but be just a little proud of myself!
3D printing really helped rekindle my love for 3D modelling years after finishing university, and these kits have kept me busy and sane through a pandemic! Thank you everybody around the world for your downloads, makes, donations, and amazing words of support, I appreciate every last bit! :)

And while I can't take full credit, there's since been a wave of other great creators throwing out even more kits, so be sure to check these awesome folk out too! Fixumdude Toto_28 Delman83 Serdan21 Benzz88 Big Marty Fresh1134206 Fine Engineer Svangp
And more!
Anyhoo...
2 variants of the kit this time, one with tolerances and another without for those that found the original too loose. Frameless versions and all individual part files also available for those not so interested in the kit card format!
Love to see your makes, and massive thanks again!

Notes:
It's a nice snap fit for me and my printer, results may vary! To tweak the tightness, simply increase or decrease the Z height in your slicer, otherwise a little glue can go a long way!
No tools required, however I would recommend some wire snippers and a small blade for clean-up :) Category: ModelsThe author marked this model as their own original creation. Imported from Thingiverse.
