Hasbro Battle Droid Blaster Upgrade Kit

Hasbro's Battle Droid Blaster is one of the most accurate toy props they have ever released. That is not to say it doesn't have a few imperfections but this upgrade kit will help fix them!

THIS IS NOT A FULL MODEL OF THE BLASTER. Just parts to upgrade the existing toy.

Included are the files that will allow you to form a more accurate blaster. First is the barrel tip. The stock tip on the toy is shorter than the screen used piece. The upgrade tip is essentially the same part, just a little longer. It can be held in place with adhesive and/or the screws that hold the original part in place.

The second part is an upgraded magazine. It simply slides directly over the existing one. It has a nice mechanical fit but gluing is recommended for the best hold. The stock magazine contains the venting holes for the sound effects. Therefore, the package includes a vented version of the clip as well a non-vented version that's more screen accurate. The non-vented clip will muffle the sound a bit however.

The stock toy has completly open barrel vents. The screen used prop however has recessed vents. The barrel ring pieces fit inside to create that illusion. You will no longer see the barrel lighting through the vents but will still see it through the opening of the barrel tip. There are two parts: Barrel Ring Short and Barrel Ring Long. PRINT THE SHORT PART THREE TIMES AND THE LONG PART ONCE. They will fit in slotted sections inside the barrel .

No supports needed for the barrel tip but they are required for the magazine. I would recommend printing the mag open side up.
