Anti-Vibration Riser for Kobra 3 Max
TPU risers that expand the printer’s foot surface and help reduce vibrations. Default height is 40 mm, but they can be scaled up or down to 30 mm (pictured). Below 50 mm, slight channel sagging may occur (only visible at eye level), depending on printer capabilities. This is without supports, with a multi tool, or multi nozzle system you can add supports to those channels. I avoid TPU supports whenever possible with single nozzle TPU prints.
Cutout holes save material while keeping the middle section strong. Wall thickness and infill can be adjusted to make the riser softer or firmer. Printed in 95A TPU for durability and flexibility.
Reduce walls , and infill for a softer foot. Increase for the opposite. Walls , not infill, have a greater effect per mm of filament. 4-6 walls for a very firm foot, 1-3 for a soft one. Infill should stay under 40% for almost every pattern, with gyroid stay very low, less than 15%.
(I made the table for the k3 out of scraps and frustration from bending over, don't judge me …)
