Tired of chasing dice across the table and annoying your fellow players with the noise? I designed this hexagonal Dice Tray to solve both problems! This is the perfect accessory for tabletop games, RPGs like D&D, or any board game requiring dice. It combines functionality with a unique aesthetic, thanks to the special filament used for the rolling surface.

Printing and Material Details

The tray is composed of two main parts: the outer frame and the central insert.

Outer Frame (Black): Printed in PETG for maximum durability and strength.

Central Insert/Rolling Surface (Brown/Wood Look): Printed using AzureFilm LumberLay(PLA Wood) to achieve a unique, wood-like aesthetic. This material not only looks great but also increases friction and provides the desired noise dampening effect.

Dice: The included dice model is printed in PETG with 100% infill to give them a solid, satisfying weight and feel during rolling.

• Multicolor Ready: I have included a multi-color ready model. For true multicolor printing, you can easily select the faces and add color using software like OrcaSlicer or similar slicing programs.
   
• Mono-Color Printing (Alternate Method): If you are using a single-color printer, you must print the individual dice models and then print the 21 separate dot inserts in a contrasting color to be glued into the faces.

Printing Recommendations

Material (Frame/Dice): PETG (or PLA for ease of printing)

Material (Central Insert): AzureFilm LumberLay or similar PLA wood/flexible filament for best results.

Infill (Dice/Insert): 100%

Layer Height: Standard settings are fine, but a lower layer height on the insert can enhance the wood-effect texture.
