Overview:
This is a remix of Patrick Ruiz’s gridfinity bin for an Arduino Uno. His version has pins that locate the Arduino, but they do not secure it. It is a 2x2 Gridfinity grid based on Zach Freedman’s platform: https://gridfinity.xyz/. I removed the magnet holes from the bottom and created two alternate versions:
1. Mounting holes for screws – These holes can be tapped with an M3 tap. Secure the Arduino Uno using M3x6 or M3x8 screws.
2. Mounting holes designed for heat set inserts (M3x4x5) which are even more reliable using the same screws.
I also flared the mounts to add some strength to them. I use this bin with a custom tray I made that utilizes Clickfinity plates by NoWarranty (https://www.printables.com/model/452675-gridfinity-clickfinity-baseplate-no-magnets-univer).
Printing:
Print in any filament you wish. No supports required.
