Vinh's Tactical Appearance Package for the Marushin Mateba 2006M (3in)

Introduction

I had always been a fan of the Mateba 2006M. It is one object in the world I'd sell a kidney to own. When the opportunity to own an airsoft model came up, I jumped at the opportunity. I saw フリーダムアート's (GunFreedomArt)'s rendition of a tactic(ool) dress-up kit for the Marushin Mateba 2006M (3in), and wanted to give it a spin of my own.

The red-dot supported is the Flip-Up Red Dot sight (Amazon affiliate link). While the original screws included in your red-dot will mount to the barrel, you may get longer M3.5 screws for extra secure fitment.

A plain iron sight version is included for printing too, which re-uses your original adjustable front blade sight.

Printing Instructions

Print this model in ABS. It has been pre-scaled and sized already for shrinkage, tested against Inland ABS in Black. For best results, print in an enclosure, and use many walls. (This was printed and tested using Bambu Lab's Strength preset.) Enable standard or tree supports according to your preference.

Print the parts in the following orientation:

• Cylinder: front end flush on the bed.

• Grip: flat bottom end of the grip flush on the plate

• Barrel: rear end of the barrel flush on the plate

Tips

• Using a matte finish spray (such as Mr Super Clear [Amazon affiliate link]) can enhance the overall look to be more uniform. 
• Printing the grip with fuzzy skin, and then applying the matte finish spray will give your grip a nice textured look and feel.
