I designed this Spool winder with the aim of making it easy to access. Furthermore, not much hardware was needed to assemble it. The whole thing is designed so that you can print an adapter yourself that fits the cardboard spool you have purchased from your favorite company.

You take the diameter of the hole in the cardboard spool and subtract 1-2 mm from the diameter. The inner diameter of the adapter is 30 mm.

The whole thing is based on mounting on IKEA Skadis Plate.

Instructions

You will need a 4 mm drill,

1 X M10 6 mm bolt

1 nut 6mm

1 Drill.

First, make the adapter...

You measure the diameter from the cardboard spool, subtract 1-2 mm and draw it in your favorite drawing program, the hole in the middle is 30 mm and 25 mm deep.

Take the Adapter and place it on the drill guide. Drill 2 or 4 small holes (which are pre-drilled in the drill guide) in the Plastic Spool.

Once the holes are drilled, remove the adapter from the drill guide, place it on the wall bracket, and then mount the drill guide on the plastic spool with 2 or 4 screws.

Then mount the bolt inside the Drill Guide.

You are now ready to use the system.

AND IT WORKS....
