If you have a water cooled PC, you may intend to use a Filter-Element within your loop, to prevent the pump from sucking in dust/dirt.
Most In-Line Filter-Elements are not easy to clean, because you have to completely empty your loop or you have to install additional valves.
The Filter with stainless steel mesh from Aquacomputer solves this problem, because it includes the valves directly in the element and you can directly access the Filter just by loosing four screws. But you may face some troubles with the mounting inside your PC-Case.
There are no intended mountings for the Filter-Element (in the bare Basis) which fit to a normal PC-Case. Aquacomputer sells some additional mounting plates to mount it in a usual fan-slot in your case.
I don't wanted the filter to block a slot for a fan and also to have easy access to the filter itself, if I have to clean it.
So I created this mounting kit to attach the Filter-Element at the backside of the PC-Case. The tubing was routed through the lowest PCIe bracket.
