The Old WhatsApp Turtle In 3D

Here is the old WhatsApp turtle made in Blender!

I got inspired to make this one day when I accidentally sent the old WhatsApp turtle to my sister, and she thought it was very funny. Then I saved the situation by telling her that this turtle is, in fact, a ‘Siskonna’. This is a word play in Finnish, amalgamating the words ‘sisko’ and ‘konna’, the first being the word ‘sister’ and the second a colloquial term for ‘turtle’ or ‘frog’.

So, I decided to make it for her as a surprise, and here it is, fully printable. Here’s some pictures of the painted Siskonna print:

 
The paintwork is a bit shoddy since my age-old brushes were quite shaggy already 😅
