Skeletal hand I adjusted and cut to function as a desktop display stand for Hueforge prints. Original hand from this NIH model (https://3d.nih.gov/entries/3DPX-016838) which I edited to be printable here.
I used Blender to rig and edit the hand model to serve as a stand for spooky Hueforge prints. The bottom is mostly flat so only a few supports are needed.
Print with 0.20 mm layers and tree supports. I set the supports to have 2 Top Interface Layers, 0 Top Interface Spacing, 0.2 Top Z Distance, and 1 mm Tip Diameter to make it a little easier to snip. Matte filaments will make support removal easier, but just be careful. I used esun bone white PLA.
The author remixed this model.
I remeshed the bones to make them printable (here). I took my edited model and added bones in Blender so I could pose the fingers to hold a Hueforge. I also scaled it down to a better size and then cut in the slicer so it would sit flat and not require too many supports.
