Macbook pro - bed stand

computer stand for bed time.

made a stand for my computer to use in my bed, so it will not heat up too fast.

to link the to feet, laying around i had some acrylic with a aluminium piece attached on it...

after the feet was made, i experienced that the balance was off and the computer fell down from the stand each time i moved it aside... so i modelled up some support feet after i have printed the feet..

after that i wanted to attach my phone so i modelled up a link to attach on the side for the modular mounting system.

the acrylic piece i glued together with foam.

the whole project was made of try and error and ended up with this piece of work..
i made it broad enough so i can stand perfectly between my legs or hips, instead of on my stomach.
