Storage tube for 16 MR52ZZ bearings (5mm outer diameter, 2mm inner diameter, 2.5mm height), the tiny bearing in the K1C extruder. It's a bit of a chonker, should help to actually find them back.
2 walls and 15% infill should do, PLA will do fine. I have not tested other materials, printed with eSun PLA+ myself.
Random seem position could improve the result if aligned is leaving too much gap.
Requires one of holder and one of tube STL to be printed.
Load bearings by racking them onto the holder pin, that'll prevent them from going sideways when loaded. Once loaded the bearings should behave and stay on place nicely. There's also plenty of tolerance so it is unlikely any will get stuck.
When closing, depending on how the holder and tube are threaded you may have a bit more friction and an audible click that should keep the parts somewhat locked together.
OpenSCAD file requires the BOSL2 library, refer to the OpenSCAD docs on library setup.
I'll probably adapt this in the future to accommodate more bearing sizes.
