Description

Nowhere to mount your rear channel speakers in your sim rig? Or have them mounted where the mount is in the way? Now you can mount your rear channels speakers nice and tight to the body of the seat with minimal space interference.

A seat that has headrest posts is required for mounting. Fitment may need adjusting depending on your seat, included in price.

Extra Hardware Required:

  • Speaker Bracket: https://amzn.to/4gKlyN6 (Thread size: 1/4" 20 thread, or 4mm, 5mm. Fits key hole mounting.) [This part affects speaker compatibility, could always use similar part, but may need to change mounting hole locations]
  • M6x45mm Hex Socket Head Bolts (x2) https://amzn.to/428VSns
  • M6x20mm Hex Socket Head Bolts (x4) (included in kit above)
  • M6 Nuts (x6) (included in kit above)
  • M4x25mm Bolts (x2) [Not Required, late addition, not using myself currently] https://amzn.to/4820xev

Printing Guidelines:

  • 4 Walls
  • Top/Bottom Shell Layers: 5
  • Infill: 30%+ (Gyroid or similar strength among all planes)
  • If has to be rotated 45 degrees on build plate, turn infill/shell layer direction along with it
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm
  • PETG recommended

Assembly Instructions:

  1. Install speaker brackets onto Rear Headrest Mount with M6x20mm Bolts and nuts.
  2. Insert nuts into Front Headrest Mount. Tight fit, best for it staying secure when screwing them together.
  3. Attach Rear Headrest Mount onto headrest posts, should fit snugly.
  4. Attach Front Headrest Mount onto headrest posts.
  5. Insert M6x45mm Bolts through the rear of the Rear Headrest Mount through the Front Headrest Mount until they reach the nuts, then screw into the nuts until tight. Nuts shouldn't fall out, but pushing on them from the front to be safe depending on how tight they fit into nut slots.
  6. If wanting to use unnecessary M4 Bolts on the outside holes, screw them in from the front of the Front Headrest Mount. Once they reach the Rear Headrest Mounts, there are threads for them to tighten into.
  7. Check that fit is secure.
  8. Use instructions from Speaker Brackets to install your speakers into the brackets, adjust their aim using the ball joints, tighten up.
  9. Enjoy!
