Bike rack profile end cap / Fahrradträger Profil-Endkappe

A friend of mine had the end caps on the profile rails of his bike rack on his motorhome broken. He had already created a profile drawing, so it was relatively easy to redraw the cap in FreeCAD.

Unfortunately, he didn't know the manufacturer and type of the rack, but anyone who needs such parts might be able to determine from the photos whether this cap fits their rack.

The caps are best printed with TPU.

The original caps are secured with plastic dowels (see picture). The TPU-printed caps hold very well without additional fastening. Simply press them onto the profile, which requires some pressure.

Bei einem Freund hatten sich die Endkappen der Profilschienen des Fahrradträgers an seinem Wohnmobil aufgelöst. Er hatte bereits eine Profilzeichnung erstellt und so war es relativ leicht, die Kappe in FreeCAD nachzuzeichnen.

Leider waren Hersteller und Typ des Trägers ihm nicht bekannt, aber wer solche Teile benötigt kann vielleicht anhand der Fotos erkennen, ob diese Kappe für seinen Träger passt.

Die Kappen sollten am Besten mit TPU gedruckt werden.

Die Originalkappen sind mit Kunststoff-Dübeln gesichert (siehe Abbildung). Die in TPU gedruckten Kappen halten sehr gut ohne zusätzliche Befestigung. Einfach auf das Profil drücken, was etwas Druck erfordert.
