Have a fun day at the park with the kids

Simple toy, super easy print to make lot's of fun soap bubbles easy. Recipe included ;)

Print Instructions:

  • Material: PETG (PLA can work fine but is more prone to breaking)
  • Layer Height: 0.2m
  • Walls: 3 or more
  • Infill: 15%
  • Supports: On Buildplate only - needed for the handle threads

The handle should be printed flat to make it tough. Threads have 0.3mm tolerance so will work just fine

*Use higher flow multiplier for the container so it is water tight.

Soap Recipe:

Two recipe's one is easy the other you might need to buy a couple ingredients.

Easy recipe:

This recipe works great and it's what I used for the images

  • 1 Cup warm water
  • ½ Cup Sugar
  • ¼ Cup Dish soap (Fairy / Dawn are the best)

Just keep that ratio. War the water a bit, dissolve the sugar well and only the add the soap.

PRO Recipe

For extra large tough bubbles.

  • 1 liter water
  • 1 teaspoon Guar Gum powder
  • 3 teaspoons vegetable glycerin
  • 200ml dish soap (Fairy / Dawn “green” kind)

In a small container mix a bit of water, the Guar powder, glycerin and soap until a thick gel like substance. then pour this cocktail in to the rest of the water, mix LIGHTLY as this will make lots of bubbles that will take ages to settle.

Note on safety: all the ingredients are food safe however obviously the soap mix shouldn't be swallowed so only use with adult supervision. Additionally do not use printed Container for food or drinks as bacteria can develope over time.

Now go have fun :)
