About
Quick and ugly remix to allow charging 18650 via HW-373 TP4056 USB-C module, which has larger diameters. The external dimensions are the same.

Lithium Battery Charger Li-ion Module TP4056 USB C mock up was used to alter original N in 1 18650 TP4056 Charger so that the module would fit in.

Please give likes, review and suggestions for improvements. Also make sure to do the same to the original authors of the models used. Thanks!

Differences

  • extra holes to allow cables going from the bottom through the holes
  • more space under the area near the battery connection
  • added screw hole under the module (90 mm distance from the other hole)

Changelog

  • 2025.09.27 - added a cover on the electronics, make sure to use some hot glue to fix in in place
  • 2025.09.21 - initial release

Print

  • provided gcode is for material and time duration estimations only
  • recommended is to use PETG because it makes the spring mechanism less stiff
  • no brim, no supports, 0.20 speed profile

Assembly

  • print
  • use solid copper wire in the sleeve or something similar (DuPont cables?) - watch out for polarization
  • leave some extra free cable between the board and the positive polarity to allow elastic element to move freely
  • set module in place - use hot glue or melt plastic on the corners via soldering iron
  • optionally print the electronics cover and fix it in place with a hot glue
