More information about building this can be found here: https://github.com/OminousIndustries/SocialRobot

Here are the printing instructions for all files:

Printer Requirements

  • Build volume: Minimum 256 mm × 256 mm × 256 mm.
  • Material: No special filament required—choose your preferred PLA/PETG.

Recommended Print Settings

  • Layer height: 0.20 mm (use finer layers on gears/sliders for smoother motion).
  • Infill: 20 % baseline (increase for structural components noted below).
  • Supports: Not required unless called out.
  • Orientation: All STL files are pre-oriented for printing.

Part Checklist by Folder

Use the following checklist to track prints. Notes indicate parts that benefit from finer resolution, higher infill, or support material.

Base

  • Base_Plate
  • Gear_Rail — finer layer height recommended for smooth motion
  • Motor_Mount
  • Rail_Slider — finer layer height recommended for smooth motion
  • Rear_Base_Mount
  • Robo_Base
  • Robo_Foot — print four copies
  • Ten_Tooth_Gear — print with very fine settings and small layer height

Clamps

  • Rear_Projector_Clamp
  • Side_Projector_Clamp — print two copies
  • Top_Projector_Clamp

Head Frame

  • Face_Bezel — increase infill for strength
  • Front_Crossmember
  • Head_Frame — print two copies; increase infill for strength
  • Rear_Crossmember

Mirrors

  • Rear_Mirror_Bezel
  • Rear_Mirror_Bridge
  • Rear_Mirror_Support
  • Top_Mirror_Bezel
  • Top_Mirror_Bridge

Mounts

  • Front_Post_Mount
  • Side_Post_Mount — print two copies
