Introducing

A compact blastgate designed for DN50 HT pipes. It integrates multiple features to optimize dust collection systems. The gate includes a dedicated mount for a 12V microswitch that can be triggered automatically when opening or closing, making it easy to control external devices such as dust extractors. Strong embedded magnets keep the blastgate locked in both open and closed positions, ensuring reliable use without accidental movement. The design is highly space-saving, allowing installation even in tight workshop setups. Additionally, an integrated wall-mounting solution provides a clean installation, reducing the need for extra brackets or fixtures. This makes it an efficient upgrade for woodshops and hobbyist workshops that require both airflow control and automation options.

When the 12V microswitch is connected to a relay that controls a vacuum or shop-vac, the system becomes almost fully automated: you no longer need to check if other blastgates are closed, except for the one currently in use. Likewise, there is no need to manually switch on the vacuum after opening a blastgate—the system takes care of it automatically.
