This is an updated version of the Siemens plug cover from Rick Voncken.
The cover also works with Bruker plugs.
I printed the cover with the round side facing up and only put supports on the inside. With the modifications the grooves on the outside will print great without the need for supports.
The author remixed this model.
I had to change the model a bit so the plug would fit better. I made the holes for the metal pins a little bigger because they were often stuck too tightly in the cover, and it was hard to get them out. I also made the inner wall a bit thicker so the cover holds onto the plug’s shell instead of the metal pins. I added chamfers to the outside of the groove so it prints better without needing support.I had to change the model a bit so the plug would fit better.
