Dreamcast Noctua Fan Mod

These are the parts that are required to mount a Noctua NF-A4x10 5v inside of your Dreamcast.

This mod only works in models VA1 and VA2 systems.

There are two versions of the latch, the regular one is designed for the original Sega system shells. The one marked long is for the translucent aftermarket shells.

There are two versions of the fan mount. Mine is a little more basic it uses two screws to secure the fan in place. The other one was designed by BuffaloWing and has some clips to hold the fan. You only need one of them.

Additionally you need a 10k resistor when connecting this fan to the system. You place the resistor across the Red and Yellow wires on the fan.
