My family took a trip to Disney World a few months back and I wanted something nice to print for them for the holidays. Figured I'd share, because why not?
I've successfully printed at .2, but the tiny balls atop the spires and the small openings in the central spire are a bit iffy. Print at .1 if you're worried about those things, but it looks fine otherwise.
Edit: I've uploaded a V2 because no matter what I did, my printer was having small issues with the balls on top of the spires as well as the windows in the center. Pretty much opened up the windows a tiny bit, upsized the balls atop the spires, and widened the circle around the ornament a small amount for strength. I'm printing it right now to see if that fixes the issue.
V1 will likely work fine for you (I was able to get three prints from it and they're fine), but I'll update when I see if V2 works a bit better for me.
Printer Brand:
Monoprice
Printer:
Maker Select Plus
Rafts:
No
Supports:
No
Resolution:
.2
Infill:
Variable. I did 40%, but it should work with whatever.
Notes:
Should be an easy print, aside from maybe the fine details. The back is completely flat against the print surface, so no rafts are needed. No supports are needed.
Simple silhouette of Cinderella Castle pulled from a free clip-art site, converted to svg, converted to STL, knocked the flags off (they were too fine to print) and added to an ornament in Tinkercad (I'm no expert). That's it, pretty much!
