If you don't want to remove the shock brace every time you want to change a lipo in the Tamiya Group C cars, you can adapt the chassis to remove the from the side. This involves cutting out the curved bits that were designed to hold a traditional NiMH pack. This clip now holds the lipo in place, using the existing holes for the NiMH holder.

This was tested for use with 25mm (normal) and 20mm (LCG) thickness lipos. Thinner models may or may not work well. I recommend using a spacer to keep the battery in place vertically (see my other files)

This mod requires cutting the chassis. You're doing this completely at your own risk. Also note that this may or may not be legal according to your class rules.

I've printed this with PLA, and I used supports underneath the pins. I used a small 1.5mm drill to clear out the hole for the body clip.
