This bracket allows you to use the unused NP-F plates in your monitors and wireless video transmitters (TX) / receivers (RX) as a quick release mounting point.
The NP-F standard mounting is a bit more loose than on lucaasrojas's model because it didn't fit Hollyland NP-F plates. But the plate's lock will keep these secure. I also opened up the corners to not interfere with the pins.
Fits most of those 1/4"-20 and 3/8" flat head screws that you use to screw camera quick release plates to the bottom of the camera.
The pictures show the two most useful configurations:
- A video RX attached to the bracket, which is screwed to a focus pulling monitor's side
- A camera's onboard monitor has an unused NP-F plate on the back because you can power the monitor with a cable. Screw the bracket to the side of the video TX and it is nicely hidden behind the monitor. This allows you to use the monitor's HDMI OUT for the video TX with a very short cable. Note that usually if you run the HDMI through the TX and use the TX's HDMI OUT for the monitor's input, that will add latency to the signal for your onboard monitor. So the signal should go camera->monitor->wireless TX, if you only have one output on the camera.
