The Lunarkey

A keyorganizer heavily inspired by Orbitkey. It can hold a few dozen keys, I have 9 on mine and it depends largely on the length of the screw you use. TPU is required for this model.

Parts list:

  • M3 Internal Hex Screw, length is dependant on the amount of keys you want to put into it.
  • M3 Heat Insert, max. 5mm height
  • TPU and any hard plastic should work.

Assembly Instructions:

Take the heat insert and insert it into the “InsertCap”. Then, take both caps and put them into the band.

The band has a crease where it folds, this should be on the inside. The caps are keyed with the band to only go in one way. Insert the caps into the band, they should fit in place nicely. The band is countersunk so the caps can only go in from the outside.

Put the “KeySquare” on the band, the flat side should be on the inside where the crease on the band is.

Put in the screw through the “Screwcap” and place it on a flat surface, then put your keys onto the screw. Once you're done with that, fold the band over and hold the 2 sides together, then screw the screw in. You can decide how much tension to put on it, although if it's too loose the screw can undo itself- do not ask me how I know.

Hopefully this is useful for someone, it definitely has been for me. Feedback is appreciated, please tell me how I can improve! (and hopefully the assembly instructions are good enough)
