I made this mount for my Tamron 100-400mm lens because the official one from Tamron is way too expensive. I designed it to mount to my promaster tripod's quick release system, but theres also a hole in the bottom for a ¼ 20 threaded insert. I haven't tested that, however. It also doubles as a handle when it's off the tripod and includes a hole for a wrist strap. The inner diameter of the mount is 82mm, so I'd imagine it would work with any lens that size. With my Nikon D3300, the weight is just about perfectly balanced so it shouldn't put too much stress on anything.
To connect the 2 pieces, I used 4 12mm m3 screws. I printed it in CF-PETG, but the first version I made in PLA was pretty sturdy too; I'd just be careful in hot or sunny environments.
If you'd like a version for a smaller lens I'm happy to adapt it.
