Ceiling or Wall Hook - Full Circle Design (Fully Editable)

A full-circle hook designed for strong secure mounting on a ceiling or wall. The hook is attached using one center wood screw and two angled finishing nails, creating a strong hold that can support a variety of hanging needs.

Perfect for hanging plants, decorations, or lightweight equipment. The angled nail supports add stability beyond the center screw, and mounting into a stud provides even greater strength.

Your exact needs needs may vary so I am including the editable STEP file as well as the link to the OnShape Document so you can copy and edit original file directly in CAD to adjust to meet your needs.

2. Parts Required (not included)

1× Wood screw – fits a hole diameter of 0.190 in (≈ 4.83 mm)

2× Finishing nails – fits holes with a diameter of 0.085 in (≈ 2.16 mm)

3. Print Instructions

Layer height: Use strong print settings

Infill: 50% or more recommended

Perimeters: At least 5 external perimeters for higher strength

Supports: Not required

Orientation: Print with the semi-circle flat on the bed for maximum strength

Filament: PLA or PETG 

4. Assembly & Usage

Position hook where desired on ceiling or wall.

Drive the center screw through the main hole.

Insert two finishing nails at an angle into the side holes to lock the hook in place.

For maximum load capacity, mount into a stud.

5. Design Notes / Variants

Designed for strength and durability with optimized hole sizes.

Orientation is critical: printing flat ensures strongest layer adhesion.

Works as both a ceiling hook and a wall-mounted hook.
