Assembly & Mounting Tutorial

🧩 Joining the 4 pieces

Align the parts carefully before gluing.

Use cyanoacrylate (super glue) for a strong permanent bond.

Alternatively, hot glue can be used for a quicker assembly.

For a seamless finish, you can also use a 3D pen with PLA filament to “weld” the seams from the inside.

Option 1. Joining the 4 pieces - Alignment and Cyanoacrylate Glue

Align the two top pieces carefully, apply a thin layer of cyanoacrylate (super glue) along the edge, and join them. Apply gentle pressure until solid. Repeat for the two bottom pieces.

Option 2. Joining the 4 pieces - Reinforcing with a 3D pen (PLA filament)

To ensure a seamless finish and a strong bond, use a 3D pen. Heat the pen and "weld" the seams from the underside of the cover using PLA filament. This will create a robust connection that isn't visible from the top.

Option 3. Joining the 4 pieces - Reinforcing with hot glue
As an alternative or additional reinforcement, hot glue can be used. Apply a bead of hot glue along the seams on the underside of the assembled cover. This provides a quick and strong bond.

📌 Mounting on the robot

Once the cover is assembled, attach it to the top of your Roomba (or similar robot vacuum) using double-sided adhesive tape.

Apply the tape only on flat areas to ensure easy removal later.

Do not cover sensors or buttons.

Tip: Keep the cover lightly fixed so it can be removed quickly for cleaning or maintenance of your vacuum.

Note:
This is a decorative add-on only. It does not affect the functionality of your robot vacuum.

Attach it lightly so it can be removed easily for cleaning or maintenance.
