Created this remix of linked OP to provide more cover and suit my needs to make a G6 Floodlight Cam since Unifi doesn’t. I made several variations of the OP’s design, the first (which I used and does work perfectly) is a 4 mm longer version to provide a longer lip for rain/weather protection, without obsrtucting the view. I also made two 10 degree slope cut versions with the length of 10mm longer to provide more sun & weather proection in a roof format. I haven’t installed these as I’m at my camera limit and only made it after finishing the project. Links below to the remixes I made (4mm longer, 10mm slope in normal orientation, 10mm slope in an inverted orientation & a full 10mm longer version for you to chop up however you want. I’d assume it will obstruct the view with a border if you don’t chop the full length one. (Plan to test more once I get an NVR to expand, I’m at my camera limit lol).
Links below for things used, use the link for the floodlgiht as there are like 7 versions of this thing. Ask me how I know…. I also used a thick and short USB-A to C cable but needed to manually trim the corner housing of cable to close the camera lid. I’ve also linked to another one that others on Reddit recommended but haven’t tried yet to confirm). Lastly, I used white silicone to seal up the back once I finished the install to prevent any water ingress (especially since I mounted it inverted).
Printed on Draft settings (.28mm) with 4 perimeters (no infill) in White PETG on a Prusa XL with a 0.4mm ObxHF Nozzle for reference.

Video that inspired me:
The author remixed this model.
Created a 4mm longer version for more cover which does not obstruct view, as well as two different 10 slope cut versions of a 10mm longer version (orientation specific) and a full 10mm longer version
