The Honda NX500 has a 13mm GPS mount behind the windshield. I really like The Quad Lock phone mount and connection mechanism. So I used the Quad Lock head from my bicycle mount and designed an adapter to mount the head to this GPS mount. To prevent the phone from getting damaged from the vibration, I put in two TPU dampener plates, separated by spacers.
The Main Body and the Clamp are printed out of ABS, 4 side walls, 4 top and bottom layers and 40% infill.
The Friction Tubing and Dampener Plate (2x) are printed out of TPU. The Friction Tubing with 20% infill, the Dampener Plates 100% infill.
You need 4x M4 and 4x M3 heat inserts for the Main Body. The M5 Flat Hex head bolt from the Quad Lock mount is replaced with a 30mm long one.
Use lock-nuts, or lock-washers to prevent screws/bolts from vibrating loose.
