PDW Stock for 8mm Carbon Fiber Rods

I loved the original design, but I wanted to use cheaper rods, so I bought some carbon fiber rods on Aliexpress for ~5€

I also made some other changes to adapt them to my liking and to be able to use spare parts I already had (basically the spring). 

A guide for drilling the slots in the rods is included.

Rod's diameter I bought was a mess. Rod's width was between 8mm and 8.5mm along the length of the rod, so i had to file down the main body

The drill guide is designed for a 3mm drill bit. If the lever does not lock securely, simply file the notch to make it larger.
