I was requested by  da3dsoul on Discord to make a version of my Top Hat for the SV08 Max that matches the filament rack that I have built for the SV08. 

I wanted it strong and decent at keeping heat it without warping as well as allowing for my MMU PTFE tubes to pass through. 
It incorporates the following;

1. Closed holes for heated chamber.
2. Lid parking spot for filaments that need more cool air.
3. ECAS04 pass throughs for my Low Rider MMU.
4. Swappable pass through plates to be able to swap PTFE configurations so you don't have to reprint a whole top hat.

There is a version with a swappable passthrough plate incase you change the MMU and need a different passthrough. Please find these in the original model.

This is a straight forward print on a 500mm bed.

NOTE 1: Check your tolerances, this is a large print and errors will show.
NOTE 2: Do a shrinkage calibration for the filament, these can be found on Printables

I printed mine out of metallic PETG. 

• 0.28 Layer height
• 0.4mm Walls with 4 outer walls 
• 4 Top and Bottom layers
• 15% Gyroid infill 
• Supports
  • Non Passthrough Version - Supports needed for base overhang, no where else. You printing should be able to bridge the upper overhangs easily.
  • Passthrough Version - Support the hole for the passthrough piece as well to better ensure passthrough plate fitment.

1. Print the parts.
2. Insert the ECAS fittings on the inside and outside of the side or plate, whichever you using. 
3. Assemble to the correct corner to the correct printer corner with the M3 screws and washers. 
4. Add the EDPM foam tape to the top ledge under the glass to help with vibrations and sealing. (Optional)
