3D Wall Mount with Clamping Nut for Metal Grid ( Rod Ø 3 mm )
The project aims to create modular 3D mounts with a clamping nut that allow the metal grid to be securely and aesthetically attached to a wall. This organizer enables:
Vertical or horizontal installation of the grid — according to the user’s preference ;
Hanging accessories, tools, flower pots, gardening utensils, keys, or decorations;
Easy repositioning of the grid on the wall thanks to the lightweight design and detachable mounts with clamping nuts.
Materials: PLA or PET-G plastic (alternatively, durable nylon filament) to ensure strength and resistance to external conditions if needed;
Wall thickness of the mount: approx. 3–4 mm for durability while maintaining low material usage;
Color options: customizable.
Type: Mount with through-holes adapted to the grid rods (3 mm diameter);
Mount with clamping nut: the mount holds the grid securely, while the clamping nut locks it in place and prevents accidental slipping;
Back side of the mount: flat base with mounting holes (for screws or wall plugs);
Mounting system: M5 screws.
Clamping nut with subtle grooves and perforations for better grip and visual appeal;
Rounded edges of the mount for safety and aesthetics.
Quick installation and removal of the grid using clamping nuts – no tools required;
Rotation – the grid can be switched between vertical and horizontal orientation using the same mounts;
Modularity – the system allows combining mounts in sets (e.g., 6 mounts for one grid);
Versatility of application – suitable for home, garden, workshop, or creative spaces.
