I wanted a 10/22 mag pouch for NRL22/PRS22 with the following criteria, but could not find any, so I made my own:

  1. Magazines must be easy to grab in a manner similar to a mag pouch for any other mag (despite the BX-1's odd shape). This means no mechanical retention, or having the top of the mags face away from the body like with other designs.
  2. Magazines should stow easily. The pouch is somewhat thick for rigidity and to add a funnel for quick stowage.
  3. Magazines should not fall out when moving. TPU retention is sufficient for this. However, I cannot guarantee this will work for BX-15 or BX-25 mags.
  4. Magazines must be protected from dust and debris. No exposed bullets. However, there is a drainage hole at the bottom.
  5. Bullets should not contact the bottom of the pouch. I added an internal ledge that prevents the mag from being inserted too far.
  6. Attaches to a 2-piece belt using Velcro OneWrap.

Print with:

  • TPU-95A
  • 15% infill (rigidity is taken care of by being kinda thick)
  • 0.2mm layer height
  • Fuzzy skin for outside optional. I think it looks cooler but it is harder to clean if it gets dusty.
  • No supports needed.

Attachment:

  • Use Velcro OneWrap to attach to a 2-piece belt.
